The artichoke halves are one of my favorites dishes - EVER! Great food, fast service, great price, and no glutton's guilt.

Asian, Chinese, Lunch SpecialsMy order from Tsing Tao was delivered promptly at the estimated time. I especially enjoyed the Crab Puffs, Pot Stickers, Mu Shu Pork, and Honey Walnut Prawns. The Orange Beef and BBQ Pork Chow Mein were mediocre but better than some I've had at other restaurants. I'd definitely order from this restaurant again.

Asian, ChineseOrder placed on 11.13.08.Tastewise, Tsing Tao is typical Chinese fast food delivery. The General Tsao's chicken was bland; it lacked life and flavor (I should have listened to the review below) . The chicken fried rice had a bit too much oil in it--I felt it could have used a bit more time on the wok. Furthermore, due to my severe dehydration the following day, I am fairly certain they used a good amount of MSG. However, my food was delivered in 19 minutes, a record I doubt can ever be topped by another restaurant. Customer service was great as pointed out--they ran out of root beer and politely asked me to choose an alternative. The food arrived piping hot and in generous portions for the price. Nothing wrong with that.

Asian, Japanese, NoodlesI've only had the ramen once and it was not bad. I ordered curry tonkatsu ramen and when it arrived it had a separate container for the sliced pork, corn, soup, and noodles. Also the takoyaki is especially delectable. Down side is that the food goes bad very quickly. I had yakisoba sit for 3 hours and the vinegary smell was so strong I had to throw it out. Delivery is usually very quick unless it is rush hour then it takes 1 hour 15 minutes. I've ordered: Black Peppered Beef Yakisoba, Curry Tonkatsu Ramen, Spicy Yakisoba, Beef Teriyaki Rice, Grilled Onigiri Rice, Geso Age, Curry Chicken Katsu Rice, Takoyaki, Samurai Wings, Rib-Eye skewer, Beef Okonomiyaki, and Salmon Fried Rice, is by far my favorite, even over Takoyaki.

Then on Monday. And then I was all Greeked out. I was very surprised at the professionalism in both the preparation and delivery. They follow my instructions to the letter (usually I feel restaurants never bother to look at my extra notes) and they are ALWAYS prompt with delivery. The fries are hot and delicious. The mediterannean burger was seasoned and tasty. The steamed pastrami was surprisingly flavorful for being so lean. I wasn't impressed with the falafel although it was still good. The kebab plates have generous portions. I am very pleased with this restaurant. Just pace yourself otherwise you'll get sick of the food ;)

Pizza, PastaOrder placed on 9.19.08.Pretty decent pizza. We opted for the clam and garlic, and while we've had better in San Francisco, we have no real complaints with Village Pizzeria. Delivery time was okay, pizza was still warm when it arrived, and the price wasn't extravagant.
